First, there was a Skype interview with the City Director of the city you applied for. If there was a chance you could be hired for that upcoming summer, a more in depth second Skype interview or a site visit to that city was the next step. At that point, they either offer you the job on the spot, contact you a few weeks later, or let you know that you have not been selected.

Phone interview, then had to visit one of the sites to observe and do an in person interview. I observed at the Chicago site, and ended up working in Houston. It was very helpful to actually see, in person, the living conditions. However, the conditions at the site I visited were MUCH better than the conditions I ended up living in.
