Staff member called and we scheduled a date and time. When I arrived I noticed right away the "front" of the building was very nice upscale looking. I walked in and it smelled like musty/moldy, the walls needed painting, and furniture looked old. Staff member and I went to a "conference room" not very nice..shabby. Staff member was very honest about the job. Data Entry, scanning, and filing. I asked her about training and if she personally does the training. She said no but the other girls in the office would answer questions, "it's day to day." She was upfront with amenities; small office with a total of 3 workers and very hot but she did provide a fan. Staff did say this several times. Staff also stated that because the office was close to the CEO's office employees had to be quite. I asked about how leadership works including the upper mangement and she said it was more departmental. I asked about team building and they don't but (can't remember if it was 1x weekly or 1x monthly) the departments come together to share one aspect/event/description to the group. I asked staff how she managed her employees (as she is the boss of this position.) Staff stated, "I don't micromanage." She does not like her staff to be late, (2) -15 minute breaks and 30 minute lunch. If you leave the building you must sign out/in. She does not like it at all when the business office calls her and states her employees made a mistake. Staff clearly is overworked. She couldn't even tell me her last day off (salaried-no home/work balance). Sum it up - Sit in a small hot office, where you can't talk and can't make mistakes- no human errors allowed.
