J'ai postulé via une autre source. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Celestra (Milton Keynes, Angleterre) en mai 2025
Entretien
Had a call directly from the companies own internal people/talent person to talk through the job role. Sounded like a good match and appeared to go well as I was then invited to an on-site short tour of their office/facilities followed by a face to face interview with two people.
I have been contracting for some time now and this was a permanent role. I didn't see an issue with this as my experience and what the job/company do was (in my opinion) a really good match. As we went through the interview I got a sense that one half of the interview panel thought "contractor to perm" was somehow a problem.
Anyway, we got through the interview - probably not my best performance - and I was told it might be a couple of weeks until I hear back.
That was 8 weeks ago. I get that I might not be the right person for the job but no one having the courtesy to call back and say so feels a bit rude.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
What approach have you taken when something in the project has gone wrong and you have to tell the client/customer?
How would you manage an under performing team member?
Would you describe yourself as an introvert or extrovert?
Why have none of these contract roles become permanent jobs?
(which misses the entire point of temp/contract/fixed term roles)
You have a number of gaps between roles - do you prefer working for x period and then taking time off?
(Contractors don't always get to pick their 'down' times - and there are other periods of 12 / 18 months where no time has been taken off - but lets ignore those)
