The next day after applying, the recruiters reached out to me via email to ask a few questions. He then said he would remain in contact with me. The role was a contract role, and they needed to see if they were awarded the contract before starting the hiring process. He was in constant contact with me, and quickly responded to any message I had. Then, when it was around the time when the contract had to start, the recruiter completely ghosted me and stopped responding to my emails. After weeks of being responsive, he completely stopped. It was very blindsiding and unprofessional.
