The face to face interview took 4.5 hours and consisted of 4 separate interviews with 4 separate people. There was no structure or no coordination between the interviewers so the questions were repetitive and add hoc. Two senior leaders poorly presented for the interview, one wearing jumper and jeans. All male interviewers. Very friendly but casual communication. Some very odd and illegal questions such as: ‘ I was surprised that you came by taxi’ ‘ what is your nationality’ ‘how long have you been in the UK’ The job description advertised did not seem to be matching the role they have been looking to fill in. Senior management team comes across as indecisive, disjointed and lacking leadership quality. The company doesn’t hold interview notes (!!!) and proper records. The company doesn’t follow through with things they say they will do. Feedback took 1 month and 11 days to arrive. Recruitment team not skilled in candidate management. They use ‘hide the head in the sand’ approach, don’t keep in touch to manage expectation and overall the process comes across and shambolic and illegal.
