I had 4 interviews and each had a combination of behavioral and case study questions. The behavioral questions were straight forward and focused on my ability to lead and more importantly, influence top-level management. The case questions were tougher and required background knowledge and a structured framework and method of analysis for considering solutions. This was difficult for me but probably would not have been for someone with a background in commodities and/or strategy. SBD was described to me during an interview as "the red carpet into the executive office" at Cargill so those hired are expected to stick around and make their way up over time. Long-term commitment seemed important. Overall, the process was smooth, the people were congenial, and I was given detailed feedback by one of my interviewers on my strengths and weaknesses with respect to the position. It was a positive experience.
