I received an update four days later from the recruiter that the hiring manager went with another candidate. Feedback was my background was interesting, good technical skills but she felt it wasn't my purpose. As a POC candidate with 12+ of corporate experience (domestic and international exp), it's a lazy way to implement bias. Not recommended for minorities to pursue careers there.
