People are nice and the team is clear on its role requirements as well as communicating on the expected timelines.
Initial introductory rounds looking at your soft skills and general background followed by technical rounds and then some. Mainly to understand your past experiences and if the role would fit with certain technical questions.
I am guessing offer was based off operational role of generic technology engineer in the company but there are engineering/design/deployment/DevOps/infra cross discipline/major region management for infra specifics required for this particular rollout for the role as well as management of other tech products hence declined, basically felt it was lower than it should be.
Company is very private and from what I heard and understood, definitely attempts to bring leading edge tech and new tools to the table for efficiencies, scaling.
