Invited for a first 'interview' with the managing director - turned out to be a five minute screening test. Then I was invited back for a 8 hour observation and interview day. I was told "the day will give you a chance to meet some of our team and find out more about the role and the services we provide for our clients. To also visit an Event and see exactly what we do from entry level above". In reality, this was far from true. I was taken all the way to Enfield Town (had to pay for travel expenses) to sit in a coffee shop for 5 hours answering written questions. There were 3 parts to the written assessment, with roughly 1 hour an hour given for each part. I was left alone in the coffee shop to write and definitely did not get a chance to 'meet the team' or 'see exactly what we do' as told. I was then told about the stages of the training programme (to become a managing director in 18 months, not an events and marketing assistant as advertised in job title), pay structure and working day. At this point I decided this wasn't for me and made the decision to leave. I believe the additional part to the day was an interview back at the office in Angel.
