I met with the Head of Circulation and the Head Librarian. I was asked questions about my background in customer services, my strengths, my weaknesses, and several behavioral questions about what I would do given a certain scenario. It seemed important to them that I was comfortable working with diverse groups of people, since libraries are community centers that draw people in from all walks of life. It's important to convey to the interviewers that you are passionate about helping the community, comfortable working with people, and able to multi-task. They asked me about a time I worked with a good team and also a time I worked with a difficult team. Have those examples ready before you walk in to the interview!
