2 rounds of interviews, one for the art and science of software engineering and another round to talk about open source and the inspiration for open source. There would also be late stage interviews, the ones I described are the early stage interviews of the process

Question 1
Motivation for open source and why you find it amazing
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Canonical en janv. 2022

Do not apply. They will string you along for months, only to ghost you at the end.
Started with a very long written interview seciton and personality test. I passed those and moved onto a series of 3 interviews. All of thse went well. One lady even said that "You are almost there!" and "Your parents must be proud." Then I had an interview with HR to discuss salary, benefits, and tax information.
Here was were things went wrong. I got ghosted for about a month. I emailed back asking about my application and they said it was a mistake. They then gave me 3 interviews to determine which department I would fit into. Finally, I got a rejection. Not a well-thought out rejection. Just an automated rejection as if I were being rejected before even one interview started.
This whole proces took about 4 months. No company should string candidates along for 4 months just to ghost them at the final stage. Unacceptable.

There is a written test where you have to list out all your achievements, and then a psychometric test. After which, if you are shortlisted, you get called for a one-on-one interview.

Quite long, but friendly staff, many stages including personality tests, coding tests, and online interviews. Stages can be quite drawn out. Personally reached late stage, however did not get an offer.
