I was initially invited to an interview through jobtoday which I found out was a group interview for big chill kings cross, the guy who interviewed us Lukas was very friendly and made it seem like the company was an open and friendly place to work. He said they were hiring for part time positions at big chill and camino kings cross. In an effort to be accommodating I offered myself for the trial shift as a bartender at Camino kings cross as I thought it would be a similar experience. However I found in my trial shift this was not really the case. They had no idea I was even supposed to be there for a trial shift, put me to work unpaid for two hours, didn't even have a dedicated sink with soap for handwashing.
