The application itself was multiple essays and recorded videos. Weeks after the application close, I received a generic rejection email. It is inconsiderate of companies to expect so much from candidates and offer so little in return. Had it have been a resume and cover letter, I would’ve had no issue… but the depth of time needed from applicants for the INITIAL application should’ve been a red flag for me.
