This was for the Mercator (Emirate group) Dubai location as contractor. Here is the set of round:
1. Phone interview: questions based on core Java and Swing like working of Hashmap, Stringbuffer, Threads, Interface & abstract class difference, OOPs concepts etc.
2. Simple online techynical test of 2.5 hrs duration (google allowed).
3. written aptitude and IQ test (was simple too).
4. 1:1 technical interview with person who had arrived from Mercator, Dubai team. Questions like explain generics in Java with an example, write some algorithms, questions on EJB, SOA, SOAP and JAXB.
5. Mangeral round with the same onshore team

Explain OOPs principles, what are different state in thread lifecycle, working of Collection framework: hashmap, String and String Buffer difference etc.

I went through two rounds of interview wherein first round was all about technical skills. This technical interview was taken by two of the interviewers.
And another round was the HR round which was very easy to clear if technical round have been cleared.

I have gone for interview and clear two technical round and one manager round. In HR Round salary was discussed. On next day , Hr asked me to submit documents and final salary was discussed. After one week later, they denied to their commitment about salary. After that i have called several time and mail also. But No response. Very Unprofessional way to treat candidate.
