I had an overall disappointing experience with CS Group Canada during their recruitment process.
I was initially contacted by a recruiter regarding a Safety Engineer Expert – Machine Learning position and asked for my résumé and email after expressing interest. A meeting was scheduled, but the recruiter did not attend and there was no prior notice or follow-up.
A second meeting was later arranged. I was informed it would be an opportunity to discuss the role, but the session instead turned into an unannounced technical interview. This change in format was not communicated in advance, which made it difficult to properly prepare.
At the end of the interview, I was told I would receive feedback within one week. However, no response was provided, and I did not hear back despite waiting and following up.
After approximately 9 month, they reachout for another position with same template, I raised the concern about previous miscunduct, I was told that a response had been sent to a wrong email address.
Overall, the experience reflected poor communication, lack of follow-through, and misalignment between what was communicated and what actually occurred during the process.
