I was scheduled for a 2pm interview today. I arrived at the San Leandro, CA, location 15 minutes early. A female employee with the Company let me in the lobby since a key card was required for entry. I saw the employee by her car and inquired about entry into the building. After being led inside, the employee said she would let the interviewer know that I was here. I proceeded to have a seat, and ten minutes later a male employee approached me asking who I was here to see, and I replied, ‘the interviewer.’ I was asked if I had a copy of my resume, and I said that I wasn't asked to bring one. The gentleman said, 'Oh, that's all right.' He then said 'Hang tight. I'll be back in a few minutes.' This was at 1:50. He didn't return again until 2:20, and said 'You didn't get a phone call to reschedule? I replied 'No.' I was then told that the interviewer was too busy to see me, but that the recruiter would contact me to reschedule. I replied 'What happened today has left a bad taste in my mouth about the company. I am no longer interested.' I scheduled my daily routine around the interview, and then of course, there was the drive. Had I been the interviewer, I would have thought, 'He drove here after not getting a call for a reschedule. I'm going to fit him into my busy day'. What a waste!!!
