The most ridiculous and intransparent interview process I have ever been through. Three interviews - all via WebEx without the opportunity to meet the colleagues in the Berlin office (I am based in Berlin). The second interview required lengthy preparation (two assignments, with presentation), and they wanted you to already know their methodology by hard, because they specifically said that the person needs to give 100% by day 1. In the first interview, they told me that they would pay 40k € (low for someone with over 4y work experience); after the third interview they told be that they now could only pay 37k and it was a 1y contract, because "we had several interviewees who were more Senior than you, but despite that, we still decided for to progress with you." Third interview with the Director Europe, who underlined their mission of "aggressive growth". I declined the offer. Are these guys really working on sustainability? This is not limited to combating climate change, but is also about treating people right.
Several months later, I made the test and applied for another vacancy, this time a more Senior position - it seemed. At least this time communication was clear up-front about the conditions - 35k. I said that I couldn't go under 38k - and got a rejection. What kind of organization is that?
