I never actually spoke with anyone. I did an automated interview and then was asked to do some homework. After that, dead silence. It took some time to do the unpaid homework and I never received the courtesy of an official decline. The lesson learned is to never complete a homework assignment for a company who cannot give you the respect of an interview with an actual person to learn more about the role and company culture.
