I had a phone interview scheduled two weeks ago. I responded promptly with availability dates and times. The interviewer chose this date and time for a 15-20 minute phone interview and I agreed. Fifteen minutes before our scheduled call, I received an email stating that she apologized but they hired someone else. Today, I receive an email saying, “ Our CACI Talent Acquisition team is still in the process of reviewing your application, and a recruiter will contact you if you are determined to be a potential match for the position.”
Why is my application being reviewed if the position has been filled? Why is it still showing as open in your Workday system? This raises a number of red flags for me as an applicant and makes me wonder if discrimination may have played a part in my interview being abruptly canceled 15 minutes prior, especially in light of other reviews I’m reading from employees and not seeing diversity and inclusion reflected among Senior Leaders.
