I had a video chat with them. they put me on mute after he would ask a question and I can see him talking with someone off-camera.
I sensed he had no interest in me but I gave him the benefit of the doubts. Although that I have the right skill sets, he only asked me 2 questions and then said, do you have any questions for me within the first 5 minutes.
I understood right away that he was not interested in me, but I still maintained my professionalism and I asked him about lessons he learned from failed projects and what kind of culture does his place has. My impression is that he's looking for someone that feels familiar to him and not necessarily qualified candidates.

Talking with management was great, the next step was a dev panel interview. It became very clear that they googled React Native interview questions and had little or no real knowledge of React Native . They seem to have no idea how to setup a React Native project correctly and it honestly felt like I was being interviewed by junior developers that just came out of a coding bootcamp with the exception of one person that was "learning" React Native.
