I contacted the Lead Developer on LinkedIn as I saw they were hiring. In the following week, I had a video interview with him.
During this interview, he asked general questions about my education, projects I had worked on and he also presented the company (their products, the team, what he was doing at the company...). He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable.
After that, I had another interview - a bit more technical - where we wrote code together (the programming language was not imposed even though they work a lot with JS). He sent me a link and he could see me writing code and he could write at the same time. It was a nice and fun technical interview. Unlinke most technical interviews that I had, we focused on a real situation that could be encountered at the company. At the end of the interview, I felt like I had learnt something.
I received an offer from another company (and had to make a decision quickly) before the end of the process but I would highly recommand interviewing there: from what I have seen, the team and the working atmosphere are very nice (and fun- they get to work with dogs! -).
