It can be considered disrespectful that, despite being informed that I had successfully completed the final interviews and received a verbal job offer, I was given very short notice before being arranged for another final interview. During this interview, I was asked the same pre-screening questions as before. The following day, I was informed that the job offer still stood, but the initially discussed salary would not be offered to me. This experience left me feeling confused and embarrassed, leading me to decline the offer. I hope sharing this experience will assist others in their job search. It's crucial to be confident and assertive in your negotiations, and remember that the outcome is not always a reflection of your abilities.
