Applied through referral. Was contacted by Burns & Mac recruiting and they set up a 30 min phone interview with a group of managers. Mostly just asked my experience and skills in the industry. After that, they scheduled a half-day onsite interview at their KCMO headquarters. During the onsite, I gave a presentation highlighting some interesting projects to a group of managers, and then we had a discussion again mostly focused on my work experience and what sort of engineering software I can use. Two engineers on the team took me out for lunch, and then the onsite interview concluded. I received an offer about a week after the onsite. Negotiated a little bit but they didn't move much. Ended up passing on the offer mostly due to the location (the offer was for Kansas City, MO).
