Unfortunately, the actual interview experience was the polar opposite. After being advanced to a second-round interview based on a video introduction and initial screening, I met with a senior executive who joined the call nearly 10 minutes late, barely acknowledged my greeting, and immediately began reading my CV — suggesting he had not reviewed it beforehand. Within 10 minutes, I was told that “this is a waste of time” and that my profile did not match. The conversation was abruptly ended with no meaningful discussion. This wasn't just a rejection — it was a complete breakdown in basic professionalism. Such treatment not only disrespects the candidate, but also undermines the efforts of the recruiting team and sends a troubling message about internal alignment and culture.
