3 interview rounds:
First (HR): Had to be rescheduled because the hiring coordinator stated the meeting was never put on her calendar
Second (Sr and Director of Conflicts): Straight forward, informational/conversational.
Third (Managing Partners): Very nice, acknowledged after 3 rounds of interviews, not much left to discuss.
The 3 rounds of interviews took about 2 weeks. I sent a follow-up email and was told the Sr/Director in the second round did not think my personality would fit. Not only do I find that unprofessional, but also a bit arrogant. Knowing that the interview process is time consuming and stressful, I would have appreciated a little more grace in not scheduling the third interview knowing the individuals in the second interview did not like me. I would have also appreciated a more professional response in terms of why the firm chose not to move forward with my candidacy. It might also look nicer if the interviewers weren't wearing tank tops or sitting on the floor.
