J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Broadcom (San Diego, CA) en sept. 2010
Entretien
The whole process from initial phone screen to the actual written offer took less than two weeks and gave me an impression of a well oiled machine. Recruiters and interviewers were efficient and "to the point" the whole time. The face-to-face interview consisted of a Group interview, which lasted an hour and one-on-one meetings with most of the Group interview participants. The overall impression was very positive. Apparently on both sides.

Good, these people know exactly what they are doing. Questions were mostly about current work done and how contribution can be made to the new group. Went in a lot of technical details as well. Also helped knowing about the tools/flows that are used.

I find one issue in the Hiring process.
For experienced professionals (like more than 12 years) HR faculty may not be able to assess the candidates profiles and forward to concerning Groups within Broadcom. So, I recommend an experienced Engineer should scan the available resumes and forwarding to appropriate Groups.
