The phone interview lasted about 30 minutes. The questions were mainly about my background and work experience. The interviewer (hiring manager) was polite and the questions were straightforward. At the end of the discussion I was told that I was not a good fit for the role but there might be other opportunities in the firm. Quite frankly, I was very unimpressed. If the interviewer saw my resume in advance of the interview, they should have known if there would be a fit or not. Based on some of the company reviews I've read, it sounds like I wouldn't be a "cultural fit". My advice is do your homework before you decide to take a job a Bridgewater. The employee reviews are frightening.
