Be prepared for a extensive interview process. It is focused on ensuring your personality, work ethic, and values match the organizations. It is an outdated process in today's world seeking to close out a req in less than 21 days. Below is the overview of the process: 1.) You start with an initial interview with a recruiter which can be up to 1-3 conversations 2.) You meet with the hiring manager and one other person for about an hour. 3.) If you are selected to go to the next round, you have a different recruiter interview you and will coordinate the interview process 4.) You then have approximately 4 hours of interviews in a single day back to back, usually with 2 people per interiew and these interviews are based on the core values of the organization. 5.) then you have about 2-3 hours of time blocked for contingency to revisit a conversation with the hiring manager and team along with another person 6.) Once these interview rounds are done and you are selected to move forward, then you have another interview with a senior member of the recruiting team to discuss compensation, what is important to you in your next, etc. 7.) Then depending on those interviewing in the process and how far they are behind you, you may not hear if they are doing to extend an offer for a week or two. They are key on radical feedback, and while I met with everyone who has been with the organization 10 plus years, I will say their overall comp structure is odd. They definitely pay people well but here are a few red flags I saw the in the interview process which could mean this organization might not be exactly what it claims: - When I was interviewing I was told I was the only person who made it this far and then was told several were behind me in the interview process. This was in less than 48 hours - They extend offers to what they feel you are valued which can be different than what you feel your value is. - The interview process includes a scenario in which they want you to work through live but provide no insight to really what this is. - While they claim they focus on providing feedback, when you ask for it at the end of each session, it is generic and definitely didn't align with their claim of a culture of radical feedback. - Prepare for interviewers to not be self aware of their facial expressions, body language, etc. In several interviews, their body language responses didn't match what they were saying. Overall, I joined chatting with the people but they need to expedite/revamp their interview process to remain competitive in the process. In reality, I interviewed with numerous organizations, several offers on the table and don't expect them to adhere to your deadline which contradicts with their focus on hiring the best talent. I also have a concern that while they have roles which are remote, it would not surprise me they will require everyone to be some form of flex and be local to the NE.
