      Entretien

Interview Process was nothing like I had experienced before. Everything was recorded and each person I interviewed with questioned the previous interviewers performance! I did not mind the recording because I had nothing to hide. None of them seemed happy however, especially the HR person who described the culture to me and was working there for 9 years!. I told them so. They say they have a drive for the truth and getting at the truth but the REAL truth is, when you speak the truth, their expressions turn into frowns! How sad is that. I asked very pointed questions about what is said on this site and they were very quiet. Hmmm... I wonder why. I asked them how they felt about working there and got no direct answers. Hey isn't obfuscation to a pointed question a sign of deceit? I guess they don't believe in their own culture. Later they said I would not be good at their company (maybe a bit too truthful for them LOL). Beware of people who advertise they have a special "radical" truth. From what I saw, Ray Dalio's principles were not practiced (I read them two times before the interview) nor, from what I could see, even believed in. (Except for Gloria who was genuinely concerned, good for you girl, you teach them how to behave and act). She must have been new. Well when you really know the truth, Jesus said he was the truth, then the false "truth's" come to light very easily. I am so glad I found out early on about this place. I also asked them how they overcome the problem of people knowing your weaknesses and using them against you? Didn't get a straight answer on that one either, just talk about everyone is exposed there. So in my opinion, in a Christian setting, most of their principles would be helpful if there where people genuinely cared for one another, but in this use case it is a nightmare. You cannot have truth and deny the one who is the truth, Jesus. One last note is with the Myers Briggs test, my personality type is INTP/J borderline on the P and J, same as Ray Dalio's type, so why would they say that my personality type is not in line with their culture? Hmmmm.... more deceit. nuff said, Hope this helps!

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

All Questions were designed to get you to talk about your weaknesses and to see how you handled them. If you really want to get the job just tell them your at faults like "I was irresponsible to do x" and don't make excuses or try to justify your actions. Just say something like "but this is how I worked at overcome this weakness but am willing to lay down my ego (pride) to see myself for how I am, ...." BTW these folk are not really concerned for the truth, I tested that concept to see if they were telling the truth and found out otherwise.

      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Bridgewater Associates (Westport, CT) en sept. 2011

      Entretien

Questions focused on a range of security knowledge. Many questions were scenario based and included a limited description of the scenario. However, the interviewer would happily expand upon the scenario based upon questions from the interviewee. In fact, those questions, and thinking outside the initially limited scope, are key. There is also a culture interview to ensure candidates are a good fit for the company. So, have a rudimentary familiarity with the Bridgewater principles. Additionally, there are questions on some topics unrelated to the role just to see how one uses logic to work through problems. For all parts, be honest, explain your reasoning be clear when you don't know something, be confident but not arrogant and be open to being told you are wrong.
