The interview process was long, and daunting. It started with a phone screening with the recruiter, who asked probing questions about my strengths but more so my weaknesses. The really push, so expect that. Once my recruiter sent my info over HR, the receptionist team called me for a second phone screening, more questions, mainly to see if you would be a good fit for the company. They really look for people to use their key words... "achieving excellence through transparency". Once i was cleared through the second round of phone screens, they brought me in for a training session and assessment. I have tons of experience as a receptionist/admin, so I didn't think too much of it.... I was trained on their phone system, which is super complicated, and then told some things in passing. There were lots of things that weren't stressed at all, and at that time I just assumed the woman training me was just showing me things in general just to ease me into the training. (i was wrong) The actual assessment was okay. The woman who trained me and Someone from hr sat in another room and called me on my phone to role play... It was fine until they would question me while i was doing things the right way, and make me question myself. It seems a little underhanded to me, especially for someone who only had 30 minutes to train with you. After the assessment is over, they call you in to discuss how you think it went. Its almost like an interrogation. They sit there quietly while you explain what you were thinking, and then wait till you're done to start ripping you apart... Almost as if they take the whole "transparency" thing the wrong way and use it as an excuse to be rude. All in all, I was not offered a position. But I'm okay with that. In theory, the whole transparency thing sounds like it would be a great idea, but its not.

Interview Review – Receptionist Role The interview process was extremely disappointing. The session lasted over three hours, which is unnecessarily long for a receptionist role. Much of the time was spent on irrelevant questions that did not seem related to the position. Additionally, I was required to role play as a receptionist, which felt excessive and not particularly useful in evaluating my skills. Toward the end, I was even told I had given the wrong directions, which seemed more like a trick question than a fair assessment of my ability to perform the role. Overall, the experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and poorly structured.

It was fine until they had you "act out" being a receptionist at the reception desk and then criticize you for giving the wrong directions. I thought this was acting. I pretty sure if i was working there i would know that the place you wanted to go was down the hall. The interview itself wasn't hard, but was overall not a great experience. Clearly they have an agenda for how interviews should go and if you misstep they provide no feedback- odd from a company that prides itself on transparenc .

The interview process is long. You speak with a recruiter and then a phone interview with the head of the department and then you go in for a long, manipulative interview where you wonder if they have confused you with another candidate. I was very surprised by how unprofessional the interviewer was. I researched Bridgewater, watched a ton of videos on their "culture" and memorized the job description. I was well prepared, but apparently that is frowned upon here and I was accused of being too confident. This place is bizarre and confusing.. and apparently crying isn't uncommon. I am only saying that Glassdoor was not helpful in the interview process, because nothing was. Not even how I was prepared from the recruiter. I'm amazed this place even has employees.

They tear you apart and twist what you're saying. They want you to ask a ton of questions, but barely give you the opportunity.
