It was a disappointing experience. I started by greeting the interviewer and asking how his day was, but he immediately launched into explaining the structure of the interview in a very robotic manner. Mid-sentence, he seemed to realize he hadn't greeted me back and quickly added, "Nice to meet you, by the way." I understand that there's a set timeframe, but in a 90-minute interview, taking just two minutes to properly introduce yourself and establish a positive environment can make a big difference. Instead, the entire interview felt cold and mechanical, creating a tense atmosphere. That discomfort affected my performance during the live coding session, as I felt pressured and on edge.
