When I arrived I told one of the workers on the floor that I was there for an interview, he went to the back and got the person who would be doing my interview. We went to a sitting area nearby outside of the store. when we started the interview she said so you know the position is seasonal and that once things return to normal you cannot guarantee employment.... no I did not know this. when I applied I had applied for the permanent position. as the interview went on, it was clear she was new and it turned out she was not even the one who does the actual hiring and that she would have to talk to the person who does. overall not impressed by this.
I really could go on for a while about how bad this interview was...

Interview process was very straightforward, simple questions like “why do you want to work here” and some questions about what we know about the company and how to handle difficult customers or when we witness a customer stealing from the store.

My manager asked some important questions about my work ethic while explaining the tasks of the job as well as how scheduling would look like. She was very kind and informative while easing any anxieties I may of had about the job.

it was very simple and just mainly questions about retail and personal experience. they just asked me the questions and i gave them the answers and i was hired on the spot.
