J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Box (Redwood City, CA) en juil. 2019
Entretien
The recruiter called me for a Staff Network Engineer position at Box. She asked me about my background details. I told her my recent job responsibilities and my total 8+ years of experience in the IT industry. I think she was writing this down so I even asked her whether she is understanding the technical details? But received no correct answer from her? Usually, recruiters stop you and ask you questions on the technology part which they don't understand.
Next day, I got an email that my qualifications don't match their expectations. I was really surprised. According to my current background if a recruiter calls me then she always gives me a chance for a technical interview with the manager or the other team members. But here it seems the recruiter was too judgemental making decisions on screening round without asking technical questions which is quite unfair.
I already gave an on-site interview for the same position in 2017. At that time I was the second-best candidate for the job as they were waiting for a response from the first candidate to which they had already offered the position. So he then took the Job position and I was then rejected.
After 3 years, applying for the same position and this time rejecting my application on the screening round is very unfair for me. The weird thing is that after asking for feedback multiple times from the recruiter, she didn't reply back to my emails and she has still not given me a proper reason for the rejection. I like the Box company and was very interested in Job positon. At my current company, we do use their services to support our customers.
I think at Box they really need to hire some smart recruiters who are technical and can understand your resume otherwise they are blindly looking for the right candidate.

The recruiter gave a lot of information about the team, relationships between the team I was interviewing for and other functions in the company. I was provided plenty of background to be well prepared for the overall topics and interviewing methods. So, no surprises during the days of the interviews.
Overall a top-notch recruiting and interviewing experience. Everyone was very available to questions and followups.

Question 1
Too bad I don't recall a specific question. The interview was a few months ago. Coming from a similar position, the interview questions were relevant, and no crazy curveballs. There was the mix of critical thinking, domain specific technology and procedures, career-oriented discovery, and inter-team / operational systems questions.
