Really strange pointless interviews. First was your typical phone call with an internal recruiter - asking the usual "qualification" questions to see if you're a fit. Next was a call with teh sales manager - he came across very egotistical and a bit of a wideboy come Essex geezer. Next were the face to face interviews with the head of sales UK - he seemed ok, the interview was more of a chat. Next was the face to face interview with the sales manager who I had a call with previously - i was unimpressed that he was x20 minutes late to a 30 minute interview and he also seemed clueless about the complex sales process, had no idea about the sales strategy and then got up and left. In fairness the internal recruiter did come running in and apologise for his behaviour - but sadly the damage was done. Seriously! This is how you recruit people...!?

Entretien
Multiple rounds including TA, Solutions Architect, Sales leader, panel presentation. Very poor communication and no updates or feedback after each round. Given the expected effort from candidates, the bare minimum would be a clear yes/no. Preferably with some feedback.

Last year I interviewed with 15+ software companies and Box was definitely the worst experience. The recruiters and hiring manager were disrespectful of my time. For the 1:1 interview with the hiring manager the recruiter didn't give me the office location and didn't respond to calls or emails in the days leading up to the interview. Luckily I figured out the WeWork location on my own. But the actual interview was terrible and in hindsight I wish I'd stopped it and left. I should mention that I was never interested in a career at Box but was heavily pursued by multiple Box recruiters. I finally caved after one very positive and convincing call with a recruiter who reached out weekly. She was great but passed me to a more local recruiter (the one who I couldn't reach for the address) who said she wanted to setup a casual lunch for me and the manager to get to know one another. To my surprise, the 12:00 meeting wasn't a lunch but instead we went to a WeWork conference room where I was grilled with trivia type questions for an hour in a really condescending manner. It felt like a big time bait and switch and left a really negative impression.
