The overall process took about 1 1/2 months. I applied online and was contacted by the hiring manager a couple of weeks later. This seemed unique. Next I had a thorough phone interview with a director in a related org. I passed that and went on to in person interviews. In one day, I came in and met with 7 different people in 4 hours. It was pretty exhausting. Some were strong interviewers, some were not. I found out at the end that there were "themes" that each was responsible for questioning me about. The people overall seemed genuine, hard working and young. The final decision was a bit slow in coming and no specific feedback was provided other than they were going with another candidate.

I received an email from the recruiter who asked to set up some time with the hiring manager. We established a time for the following day, and the manager called me at the appointed time.
