I filled out the online application (including submitting a resume) and received a phone call from HR within 2-3 weeks. The HR personnel asked if I had time for a short phone interview. I replied yes, and was asked some basic questions of my experience in healthcare. Afterwards, I scheduled an interview at the hospital itself. The face-to-face interviews began with nursing recruitment HR staff (same individual that I conversed with over the phone). After a short interview with them, I was led to the unit that I was interviewing for (later on I was told that this portion helped HR to determine the units that I would best fit). The Nurse Manager of the unit interviewed me, and at the end of the interview I was instructed to call the HR personnel that I initially talked to. She asked my opinion of the unit, and if I wanted to proceed. I said yes, and the HR personnel told me that she would continue with the process from her end (she said that this meant discussing it with the Nurse Manager and checking my background/references), and that I will hear from her in a couple of days. She called back in a week and told me that I received an offer.
