I applied online and then I had a phone interview with the researcher that was planning to recruit me. I was asked questions about my research and some technical questions about my study. The main target of the interview was to understand how much my study was related to the internship topic.

I was not familiar with some related concepts required in internship. Still I got a few questions about those and I had difficulty answering.

Discussed about my research projects, and answered a few general questions related to the potential project. The interviewer stays positive and helpful throughout the interview. I did miss something when answering certain questions but I still managed to secure the offer.
