The process started with a recruiter screening focused on my background and salary expectations, followed by an online technical assessment. After that, I had two rounds of interviews with data engineers and a hiring manager covering SQL, data modeling, ETL design, and scenario-based questions around large-scale data pipelines. The final round was more about culture fit, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and discussing previous projects. Overall the communication was clear, timelines were reasonable, and the difficulty felt fair but not trivial.

Hiring process was very slow. In first interview, I met with the team manager. He talked about how good his former employee was. This knocked my mood. After a month and a half, I was called for a face-to-face interview at the company. Since they called 12 people at the same time, they couldn't make up a calendar. Later, this invitation was canceled and a face-to-face interview was held in a different format. After this stage, I received an e-mail that they will continue with other candidates.
