Unprofessional, giggling to each other and hardly read or understood my resume. Took me to tour the place before offering any kind of job. Asked mildly inappropriate questions about what I liked to do when I didn't work, asked if I liked to drink beer and go out with coworkers.

I applied online for a “Bookseller” role. During my initial in-person interview, I expressed interest in a “Co-Manager” role opening up. I came back several days later to interview for this position. Management seemed confident in my recovering this position and excited for me to come on board. I was told that I would have a final interview within a few days. Almost two weeks later, I still hadn’t heard back.
While my interviewers were very polite and respectful, they didn’t actually interview me. Rather, they talked about the expectations of the position the entire time.
By the time my final interviewer contacted me, I had accepted a different position elsewhere.

Question 1
Besides the typical “tell me about yourself” I wasn’t asked any questions.

Submitted an application online, followed up via phone and went in for an interview the following week. Came in for the interview dressed and prepared for a management interview, ended up being asked no questions about myself and instead being given a sales pitch about their discount card and essentially how management doesn't care about employees, simply their ability to make the bottom line look good. Was offered a part time starting cashier job at minimum wage, with the empty promise of more opportunity as long as I made the management staff look good on paper every single day.

Question 1
I wasn't asked a single question. The entire interview was the hiring manager tell me how he judges all of his employers solely on their ability to sell discount cards and magazine subscriptions, A monkey could have sat there and been offered a job.
