The interview process took almost 2 months. First i received a online test with linux and java questions. Then a Skype interview with HR was scheduled to understand my candidate profile. Then a technical skype interview was scheduled. After clearing that i was called to Amsterdam for onsite interview. The visa and travel arrangements were taken care by booking dot com. At their office, i had first technical interview with two linux admins who checked my troubleshooting skills. Then next technical interview was with two system engineers who asked questions from resume and few scenarios. Next round was with a manager (DBA). He asked questions related to mostly processes, monitoring and production changes.

After submitting the resume through the website, recruited reached out with a hacker rank test. It was pretty simple with some scripting, sql & linux commands. After twi days got a call from recruiter saying that I passed the initial round and invited for the second round which is a phone interview. Two sysadmins called me over the phone. Mainly on the tech stack included in the resume & some simple troubleshooting. It was almost an hour. After few days recruiter contacted me with all the feedbacks and invited for the final rounds, which was scheduled on Booking.com's Office. It was a big day for me, I was pretty excited about the job and the company. The interview went almost 3.30 hours.. There were four rounds, first one was by the recruiter who explained the benefits and packages, followed by two rounds of technical. First one gave me a scenario of web cluster and asked me to troubleshoot. Second round was kind of similar where they gave a scenario of web cluster and asked me to troubleshoot. The last round was done by a DBA, who asked me with some business kind of questions. I had a positive feeling after the interviews . Next day recruiter called me a informed that No offer this time..
