Standard Teams conversation before moving on to a face to face interview.
Face to face interview was quite disorganised; an interviewer with me and 2 people also on a teams call. Interviewer tapping away on his keyboard doing his own thing whilst I was speaking to the 2 people on teams. I understand people have other things to do but I've just took the afternoon off to do what could have been a teams call for me also. Nothing too complicated but I was out of practice with interviews and the setup - but of course interviews are really about how you react under such stress so thats on me.
Never got any feedback (or even declined).
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Bondsmith en mars 2022
Entretien
Initial approach and chat with internal recruiter.
As per the other interview on here, there was a live coding test based on hackerrank with the same tests (roman numerals, strings).
It was a sort-of pair-programming style interview with the CTO, but he didn't really seem to be interest in letting you follow your own flow in the task, instead trying to push you towards the solution (which is an odd thing to focus on at this level). For a senior interview, it seemed more suited to intern/graduate level, where you've not learnt - and are therefore not tempted - to do things in a realistic way (TDD, clean code, MVP, Kaizen). I wasn't particularly impressed by the benchmark approach, and found it very off-putting.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Two basic hackerrank type problems - one with roman numerals that needed to be calculated, and another with a string problem
