      J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez BlueCargo (New York, NY) en juil. 2025

      Entretien

      Got approached by a recruiter for the role. Had an initial conversation with them, then they sent me to a video interview (which felt kind of backwards). The video interviews asked me alot of the same questions as the recruiter did. Nevertheless I did the video interview, and then got a call that night saying they wanted me to start talking to their team. Met with one of their advisors, a peer in the role, and then both founders. One of the founder interviews was an ops case. Overall decided to withdraw myself from the interview process after the final round because I just felt like there was not alignment between me and the founders. I also felt like the process was a bit all over the place. For instance, the recruiter would call me to talk through something, then hang up, then call me back 3 minutes later to ask more questions. This happened 3 or 4 times. I was getting the sense that the founders would ask her to get more information then the had originally requested. Overall - just felt kind of disjointed. From what I could gather, the company is having some issues around retention, but I wasn't getting the impression that the founders were really taking accountability for that -- more than that I didn't get the impression that there would be a lot of autonomy or trust based on what they were describing the role as. This was what swayed my decision ultimately.
