I had a friend refer me for a position. This was my overall experience. 1. Positive 15-30 minute phone interview 2. Write a paper about space flight 3. Create a professional presentation about myself 4. Watch videos about the mission 5. Main interview 6. 4 x 30 minute one-on-one interviews Overall time spent to apply, interview, etc = 12ish hours of wasted time. (at least I wasn't doing free work for them). In the end, everyone was nice and courteous. They called to give me "feedback" about the interview and just told me I was denied the job, without giving me any actual feedback on how to improve. They could have sent an email but appreciated the call?
