Everything went quick and smoothly until the end of the interviews. I applied online and was contacted by one of their recruiters a couple weeks later. I am an out-of-state candidate so they set up a call with the hiring manager before going onsite. I proceeded onto the onsite interview where I presented for 30 minutes and had 1:1s after the presentation. Prior to your interview, you also have to do a written summary of your thoughts on access to space and space flight. I'll also mention that I had to pay my own way for the interview because of my role...which I was completely fine with because I had a strong interest and passion.
Everything was moving at a pretty good pace up until this point. I was told I would hear from them by the end of the week, but didn't hear from them until a couple weeks later after I followed up a couple times. I was then told they would make a decision by the next week. I get a voicemail from the recruiter saying to call her back that day or the next for some feedback (no mention of a rejection or offer). They had a cutoff time for that day that I couldn't make so decided to call the next day. I called and left a voicemail but didn't hear back, so I emailed to share my availability and to make sure they knew I tried reaching them. It has now been over 3 weeks since that last correspondence and I still have not heard anything from the recruiter; even after another follow up.
I am extremely disappointed by the way Blue Origin and the recruiter have handled this situation. I understand if I'm not the right candidate, but I do expect to be told the outcome of my interview...especially because I spent a lot of my own money to do so. I can't imagine how they treat their employees if this is the way they treat candidates.
Overall, great interview process. There was a total of four interviews that took place which were all friendly and relaxed. During the the final interview, a panel interview, I was asked to demonstrate skills. Ultimately turned down the role for another company.

I scheduled a phone screening with a recruiter and realized a day later (still three days in advance) I couldn't make the time. I emailed the recruiter immediately and got no response. The day before the screening, I followed up via email again advising I couldn't make it and needed to reschedule. No response again. The day of I get two missed calls at the original scheduled time. Clearly, this company doesn't teach its recruiters the basic functions of email, noting the ironic, "Please reach out to me if you have any further questions!" in their original message to me. Stay away from this company, especially since they refuse to just admit they're in Kent in job postings because they know no one wants to work there.

The interview process took so long. The recruiter took weeks to reply just to let me know I didn't get the job. Had to prepare a presentation and talk for a full hour then get interviewed for an hour.
