Was contacted by HR for an initial phone screen, then proceeded a week later with second round phone interview.
Company is young and growing but I did not get a clear idea of what the job requirements would be, which I found slightly concerning. The lady I spoke with was informative and respectful, which I am appreciative of.
Interview was short and concise. Didn't receive an offer for the position, but was offered an unpaid internship which I was slightly offended by after having numerous high-paying internship experience in the past. Do they really expect college graduates to say yes to an unpaid internship?? Northern Virginia is one of the most expensive places to live in, in the country. I do not want to begin to speculate on the type of salary the junior consultant position would have been but my guess is that it would be on the lower end of the spectrum.
