J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Bloomberg (New York, NY) en mai 2020

I started with a Phone Screen with a dev where I was asked some general interview questions. After that I was passed to a multi-round interview. From what I read, I believe the process would have been 2 rounds of tech interviews with 2 devs each, then a manager round, and a final HR round.
The first tech round was fairly easy. Some medium/easy leetcode questions and questions to confirm my understand of tech concepts on my resume.
I struggled in the second round. The problem itself was very easy, but unlike on leetcode where you're give a clear input (array of ints), I was told to solve a problem to manage how many rooms I need given a list of meeting times. I had a hard time imagining the list of times as an input I could use for a function. I offered a solution the dev thought was valid but not ideal. It was very clear he wanted to come up with the solution he had in mind, but again I was struggling with visualizing the input.
Overall, I would say the experience was a plus since 3 of the 4 devs I talked to were polite and seemed interested in understanding my skills. But if you are stumbling with a question, try to ask the interviewer questions to see what he is trying to say as I had a hard time with his wording.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Given 2d array with some cells as pantries, find the steps to the nearest pantries.
You are given a list of meeting times with start and end times, find the max number of rooms you need.
Overall, it was a positive and professional interview experience, though the interviewer was on the stricter side. Unfortunately, I was dealing with an illness and wasn't able to prepare as thoroughly as I wanted to, which left me feeling a bit off throughout the conversation. Despite not feeling my best and facing a tough interviewer, the process was well-structured.

Fairly simple. Phone call then onsite. For onsite it was 10 min office tour follow by 1 hr interview then 1 hours system design and 30 mins manager interview. Interviewers were nice and the recruiter was accommodating.

5 rounds first 3 being leetcode coding ones and the last 2 being behavioral. The first three are the hardest asking mainly taggeed questions and the rest are not that bad
