Two days after I submitted my application I was asked to do a technical phone interview at some point in the next three weeks. I ended up doing my interview 20 days after this email. The interview started out with a couple of general questions about myself and my previous projects and also why I wanted to work at Bloomberg. He then asked me a couple more technical questions and we then moved onto the coding part of the interview. The coding part of the interview was more casual than I expected with the interviewer setting up the bare bones of a function which I then had to complete. He made me work on each problem until I had the lowest time complexity possible. The questions were not difficult however I would advise revising data structures before the interview. The interview then ended with me being given the opportunity to ask questions.
