Initial Screening -> System Architecture -> Code Screening
Overall was a very pleasant process. Everyone I spoke to were friendly & professional. Gave me ample time to ask questions and seemed genuinely interested in hearing what I had to say instead of being on auto pilot. Genuinely seems like a great group of people to work with.
Team was quick to respond and follow up after each interview, including an email to inform me they weren't going to be moving forward with my application, which was much appreciated.
Only hiccup was them telling me the coding session would be on Data Structures, but then changing it to Express.js/setting up api endpoints. Would have been nice to have a day to brush up on it. But it was a pretty high-level and was more focused on seeing thought processes, so didn't hurt too much outside the initial confusion.
Do wish I had a bit more insight as to why I wasn't moved on to the next round. Despite the above miscommunication, felt like both my architecture/codescreen went really well. The email stated how impressed they were with my knowledge and that the decision had nothing to do with my interviews, which kind of left me wondering what changed.
Still one of the best experiences I've had interviewing with a company, will likely apply again in the future.
