One of the most disappointing interviews I'd ever had. A recruiter responded to my application by email. She asked to complete an assestment and set up a phone call with the hiring manger and another one with a Spanish speaker. When the hiring manager rung, from the get go I felt he was uninterested. He quickly ran through his background and the company. He just had negative tone off him. He also told me to suspend the call in Spanish because, apparently, the other employee was unavailable. I had to ask him if he wanted to talk about my CV or my interest in this company. I tried to have a conversation by bringing up all the information that I had prepared for the interview, as in any normal interview, but he was not willing to do it. I felt I had wasted my time preparing this interview, even though, as you know, the time spent in preparing an interview is never time wasted. Then I got an automated rejection email 2 days later. Good luck to whoever gets that role, the company does not seem like a good place to work and develop your career.
