Interviewing at Square is a very lengthy process in comparison to other Bay Area companies. It starts with phone call screenings from the recruiter, moving on to a phone call with the hiring manager, a writing assignment, then in office interview with the team you'll be working with. The recruiter and hiring manager ask standard questions and you will be expected to complete a remote writing assignment. The team was very friendly during the interview process. It could be improved if the recruiter got back to candidates faster about the team's decision.
